The two-track CD will be exclusive and unavailable to anyone outside the fan club. AMA announces nominees. This is the part where some strange combination of celebrities, like Jewel and Methodman, stand behind a glass podium and say, "The nominees for Favorite Alternative Rock Artist are... Kid Rock, Limp Bizkit, Red Hot Chili Peppers." We'll have to wait until the American Music Awards air on Monday, January 27, 2000 on ABC to find out who wins (Norm Macdonald will host). OASIS drops label. It seems that these Brit-rockers just can't get enough of the press's time these days. They change their lineup. They announce tours. Liam Gallagher is reported missing. Liam is found. And now, New Music Express reports that the band is leaving Creation Records due to the recent departure of the label's head Alan McGee. It is not yet determined what label they will sign with to release their upcoming CD Standing On The Shoulder of Giants.
